I was so disappointed when there was initially no Chinese pair in the draws. But then the Indian 7th seed withdrew & Liu/Ou was promoted from reserve, defeated 3 seeds & claimed the title without losing a set. Liu Yuchen is extraordinary & has been the star of every match.🇨🇳🏸❤️🥇🏆👏🏻🎉🥰

China MD or MS didn’t deliver recent years. And to be honest I thought Liu is done when his original partner Li announced retirement. Good to see them bounces back to make the tournament interesting

Yuchen is consistent as usual; if OU reduced his unforced errors in half, they would have won in half the time…
Look at whom Liu/Ou defeated along their road to glory, Ahsan/Setiawan, Alfian/ Ardianto, Chia/ Soh, outstanding Indonesian and Malaysian men's doubles, their victory has huge weight. They won each round in two games. Just magnificient.
