      Danilo is as technically gifted as Scarpa, but he plays in a more defensive position. Furthermore, Scarpa is 28 and Danilo is just 21 years old. Take care of Danilo and he will become a new Casemiro and NF will become a top team, as Palmeiras is

      I'm Brazilian, and I support a team that rivals Palmeiras. But I'm a fan of Danilo's football, he's very fast, dynamic, an excellent scorer, plays easily, covers space with mastery.

      Forest's left side with Lodi, Danilo and Scarpa is top 5 in the world.

      He will certainly be a player for the Brazilian national team.

      COYR! Morgan Gibbs White, Scarpa, Danilo, Freuler, Mangala… there's no doubting Forest have real quality in the central areas of the pitch, and more so than the teams around them at present. If Niakahte comes back and looks like the Rolls Royce he did before he was out, and the ever improving form of Aurier and Lodi, we will be incredibly competitive through the first 2 thirds of the pitch. That will be enough to keep us up and we can improve our attacking quality and personal in the off-season.

      As a Palmeiras fan, I can say you guys just bought a possible #5 of the Brazilian national team. Danilo, João Gomes, and Andre are way better than Fred (Manchester United), they will be as big as Casemiro. He is aggressive, fast, and has great passing skills. Enjoy it!!

      Outstanding analysis as always Uti, it should be computer viewing for all forest fans. It brilliantly outlines the king of player we can expect. Yes there will be a settling into the Premier league period for him but this could be a powerhouse. His age is also really important as we did sign some older midfielders already to help steady the ship in the short to medium term. But this guy shows we are now also looking to the future.       The raid of Palmeiras seems to have given us two brilliant players way below market value. Already the new recruitment team have done a great job and in an area we need cover, particularly with Yates going off at HT yesterday. Although the role he is going to step in seems to be one the whole team understand, Colback and O'brien both easily stepped into it against Leicester, so it will be nice to see Danilo have the opportunity to do what these players can't and take the ball forward more and bring something in an attacking sense.

      I'm a fan of the team where Danilo played in Brazil (Palmeiras) and I can say that Nottingham Forest signed a jewel.

      Danilo is a defensive midfielder of great quality. His strengths are tackling, good physical presence and intelligence in passing short, medium and long distances.

      He was recognized by a large part of the press and even by fans of other clubs as an accredited player to be part of the Brazilian national team in the 2022 World Cup.
