  1. Aguerd is a class defender! If we can get him scoring he will be our Dawson replacement but doesn’t mean we don’t get another defender in the summer.

  2. Hi stel I still think we won't go down. Signs are improving slowly. Aguerd is supurb. And passing the ball FORWARDS more instead of backwards is helping alot..I think chelski is there for the taking..

  3. We have all seen antonio throwing himself on the floor a lot this season (and last season in periods)…….our fans get fed up with it and more importantly so do referee's. So he has brought it on himself and we will (the team) suffer for it……he should of never started behaving like a big girls blouse in the first place.

  4. Class vid geeza. Think the turning point was Everton game. We seem to be picking up some optimism and nabbing some points like you said and the vibes slightly changing , positive waves yeah hope it maintains. Bring on the Blues and feck em can't wait COYI 'X'

  5. At one point in that game…..we were dominating and our possession was on the tv chart us having around 60% for a long period of time. When moyes decided to try and protect the point (subs)……we then did sod all and let them come right back into the game with total possession (hence the final possession ratio) and if c.wilson could head properly….we would of lost.
Moyes needs to grow some, cos this is how we ended up in the bottom x3. Fortune favours the brave and his decision may of cost us a win….imho. We had shut up the geordie fans till his subs got them going again.

  6. Our fans Stel are on a different level to all others ,especially where we get shoved up in the gods.Spot on Antonio was fouled no doubt for me.Referee for me was soft on Newcastle all game?Couple of their players deserved two yellow cards. They are quick and energetic and at 1-0 down I feared the worse. What disappointed me about Newcastle was how dirty they were, lots of shithousery going on especially Joelinton.Great performance overall, but was only a draw,I didn’t think Moyes was brave enough 2nd half to get the three points we needed.Aguerd’s recovery speed is insane, shame we haven’t had him all season, you could add 8 more points if we did.Everyone is looking at Kehrer for all mistakes,I didn’t think it was either, ball split them and Wilson run through and scored as he always does against us.
For me 5pts from possible 27pts is still relegation form and for me Moyes out still for me.Sadly that won’t happen and we have to hope he gets 19 pts from 17 games to stay up.Paqueta was class on the pitch,Declan back to his imperious best at St.James Park.
Everton have pulled a master stroke bringing in Dyche, new manager bounce,we with Moyes get a dead cat bounce keeping him in his job.Last point from me Dawson has cost us 6 points with his move too Wolves,he was pulled from the game v them, result we lost they won,3pts.Plays on debut against Liverpool and scores they win, another 3pts =6pts in total, that keeps Wolves up for me,two teams out of our sight as well as Forest.
Good video Stel, pardon my negativity I really hope we survive really do,looking for some divine intervention here.⚒⚒⚒

  7. You can immediately tell Aguerd is a class act from the moment we signed him, but I have a nasty feeling Liverpool could be knocking at our door for his services = lets not accept anything less than £200 million for him & Rice if we are forced to sell.

  8. Again We are being Let Down by the ((board ))for not questioning the referees Association VAR about the inconsistency of fouls given ,The Antonio situation Saturday should be addressed by somebody ,But they wouldn’t PAY the first class stamp. Typical of West Ham Bored

  9. Regarding the possession argument, I remember when we had beaten Nigel Adkin’s Southampton at home by 4-1. He claimed that his team should have won because they’d had far more possession than us. To me, it’s far more important to put the ball in the net more often than the opposition.

  10. Afternoon Stel, good analysis. My observations…
    1. Coufal is a better wing back with Paqueta beside him. He was great going forward and fierce in defence. But he still needs to work out how to cross the ball so someone (Antonio) is actually able to make use of it. I thought he was the better of the two wing backs on Saturday.
    2. Johnson is preferable to Kehrer as right full back as long as Oggie, Coufal and Aguerd are there to keep an eye on him.
    3. Bowen and Benny need to swap wings occasionally as both of them favour cutting in too often and defenders are obviously now expecting it, Alternatively Benrahma needs to practise shooting with his left foot so it is actually a threat. At the moment he is way too predictable.
    4. Emerson is improving BUT he goes backwards too much, unlike Vlad. He's especially good once we finally get forward though, especially across the edge of the opposition's penalty box. I got sick of him passing it back to Aguerd.
    5. Talking of Aguerd, it is possible his injury may have been responsible for our first half of the season's poor form as Mr Moyes obviously bought him with this three at the back aporoach in mind and couldn't properly adopt it until Nayef came back. Now he's in place we look so much better.
    However…
I'm still not enjoying us being so defensive throughout such long periods of the game (there were times in the second half when it was almost unbearable) so I will reserve my judgement on Mr Moyes' tactics until we see how negative we are against Chelsea and Spurs.
I think we are all longing to see this more confident West Ham side properly have a go at someone. Perhaps the Chelsea game will be the right time to go for it, after all, they are unusually poor at the moment?

  11. All about confidence results are now starting to give us back confidence. With out confidence the team don't try things. Signs at the moment looking better players coming back from injuries fingers crossed starting to look so much better!

  12. Yes, very encouraging performance compared to the first half of the season, and if we can continue to pick up then we should get better results even against the top 6. Pleased our away fans had a pleasant weekend and returned home happy!

  13. we think it is great coming away from Newcastle with a draw last year we won 0=3 i think ok Newcastle have brought in players and improved we spent more and brought in more players yet we are happy with the draw we are one of the worst teams in the league WE ARE HEADING FOR RELIGATION
