      Why aren't we using the world cup system? Can't remember any complaints, especially when it comes to offsides… it's costing teams major points, with all the money in the league, surely they can afford whatever system we used during the World Cup.

      I jsut don’t understand the recent uproar? This has been going on since it was implemented why does this decision whether you think it’s right or wrong causing so much commotion jsut cause it’s arsenal? I’m confused it’s gone for And against every team in the premier league.. yea let’s get better officiating but it feels as if they are making it seem so much more because it has happened to arsenal I’m jsut a little confused

      Crazy…People complain it takes too long to get the right decision….people in charge try to speed it up….large scale mistakes are made. It's almost like its very obvious this kind of thing would happen. We need to stop listening to what fans want this situation and boil it down to its most basic: Get the decision right. Once you've got that done you can start to incorporate aspects to make it better, this is why we've got VAR in the state it's in.
      "We want VAR because the refs keep getting decisions wrong!"…"But we want the guy on the pitch still in charge of the decision" The guy making the wrong call is the same one you want with over-ruling authority on whether to change that call? Smart.
      "We hate that it takes too long!"…"Why don't they go and use the screens!" The screens that mean you have a referee wait for confirmation he needs to review, go over to the screen, review it, then make a decision taking all that extra time? Smart.
      There's soo many counter actions from what people say they want of this system that its always going to be a mess. It needs to just be an over-ruling force with a rulebook as to why decisions are being made with better communication throughout, that's all it needs to be to work.

      VAR has failed all teams. Every team has benefited and been hard done by it (or will be) getting an offside wrong is crazy. Offside is the one thing that should never be wrong.

      They already cause us two points unless they're going to give us back those points. They should just shut up and do there jobs properly. Refereeing is hard i know that, i ref grassroot games. Construction is also hard but you wouldn't accept a construction worker costing you millions of dollars.

      The toughest part is, VAR was meant to eliminate this kind of debate. On the subjective calls like Souceks handball I can understand it even if I don’t like it. But not drawing lines or drawing the wrong ones is negligence
