This guy is so good defensively, and also going forward, he's just unlucky not to be favored by Chelsea coaches. He would have solved the defensive midfield issue we have currently. I see him combining well with Enzo. Chelsea should give him a chance and save money on buying another midfielder.

Blaming Tuchel for ruining his Chelsea career. Everybody knew he was good enough to be at least a rotational DM option in this squad this season, and looking at our injuries he would’ve clearly been huge for us. but of course after a great preseason Tuchel gave Ampadu zero chances and now he’s doing another pointless loan in Italy. I don’t see how Ampadu comes back into the chelsea team this summer with our owners looking to invest heavy in this position and likely to sell him.
Another Cobum player. Just sell him, Gallagher and Mount and be done with it. It's the worst charity case trying to force these players into midfield. Chalobah too looks way out of his depth when forced to actually defend.
Buy Ugarte or Lavia or Varela this summer and solve Enzo's partner for the foreseeable future as they build up Andrey Santos as well.
He's great both in standing and sliding tackles and that's his specialty… Other than that? To be a defensive midfielder just to have that ain't enough, (for me….)
Yes! I love Ampadu ever since we played with Sarri. He's absolute fearless and determined. I see a lot of old school defender in him with the pass touch of Silva. This guy is for me is the most underrated player, he's overseen by so many big money players such as Fofana and Koulibaly but Ethan has more passion and skill than both of them. Chelsea already invested money and time on this kid, why not give him time? Plus he's on low wages. If Kante leaves and Zakaria goes back to Juve, Potter needs to have Ampadu in the squad for next season.

better loan him to pl and see how he performs if he impresses really have him as depth else sell him to a pl club not to other european clubs
