  1. Shocking really like the Schar incident. I'm not just speaking as a Newcastle fan caring about our own player. But in general that if a player gets knocked unconscious in a match, then they need to come off. Obviously Schar is passionate and will want to carry on and do well for his team because a player never wants to come off regardless of what's happened. But it's up to the medical staff and his manager to lead by example. Disgraceful by the Swiss camp.

  2. Schär should of been taking straight off especially considering that in the prem when Glenn Murray had a similar situation he was stretchered off. FIFA need to look into this situation now rather than later because next time it could be more serious.

  3. yea good point, remember when rafa played mitro and gayle together and they clashed heads, they both got a 1 match precautionary suspension with it being a head injury and rafa never started them as a pair again!

  4. the Owen matter was the training pitch and staff budget to fault for the man getting so many injuries. a real shame.. i know the presenters on bbc joke about the magic sponge the play acting trying to draw cards takes away from incidents like Schar were the players health is really at risk.. was it the cherries match Schar knocked into a player that hit his fellow defender and two were out of bounds down Schar tried to pull one up to get the match one..he could have been carded player health is more then a match win.. players should leave each other alone and the FA could do well with a match physicians assistant to do checks with the clubs to improve fair play and guard against abuses
