honestly, fred needs a serious upgrade. he is blows hot and cold very often and man utd need a capable upgrade. Enzo Le Fee is very capable of doing what fred does and even better. actually sabitzer does better.
this also should be a wake up call for the need of an actual like for like replacement for casemiro or someone just as capable defensively.
also… antony and wan bissaka missing meant that right hand side was a walk for leeds… we can miss one or the other but not both

I feel like if AWB played, he blocks the pass to the Leeds player who sends the centered ball that gets deflected into goal. No evidence to support that thought, just a feeling from what I’ve observed of AWB’s positioning in similar circumstances.

A lot is lacking with this club’s board. They bought Lukaku but didn't have midfielders to supply him with assists. They bought Pogba and couldn't get someone to cover for weaknesses. Now they got Casemiro and no one is bothered to get him a backup. It's common sense. You can't win trophies if you can't think ahead. It will be a while before we win another trophy.
