everyone knew that eventually Milner and Henderson would need modern faster replacements. Opta stats also explained how to nullify the threat from the red fullbacks. a modern premiership team needs fluidity in it's front 7 so if a team stops your match day system you immediately switch. city have interchangeable ranks. arsenal are trying. united have players they can interchange positionally also. Tottenham are too fixed. Chelsea too confused. pep be gone soon. then united reign once again.

I can't believe how badly Liverpool have fallen off this season. Very hard to maintain the intensity they had set over previous years I understand, but to go from challengers on all fronts to looking like a mid-table side is something few would have predicted. The signings of Gakpo and Nunez haven't worked so far and Klopp is showing signs of a manager under pressure in his interviews. Not writing Liverpool and Klopp off yet, but this season is surely over for them now and the focus has to be on next season.
