Americans fell in love with Erling Haaland during the FIFA World Cup – and now you can pick him in your Fantasy Premier League team for the coming season.
The Norwegian is one of the biggest stars of the Premier League, scoring the most goals in three of the last four seasons.
For that reason, the Manchester City forward has been priced as the most expensive player of ALL TIME in Fantasy Premier League, costing £15.5m out of your budget of £100.0m for the campaign ahead, which starts on 21 August.
Haaland knows all about that price tag. When it was announced, he commented on the Premier League’s social post, saying “nice”, “and expensive”.
More than 13million people played the Fantasy game last season, and the world champion from Denmark was a rookie, playing in his very first season!

What is Fantasy Premier League?
Fantasy Premier League, or “FPL”, is a free-to-play game where you win points based on the real-life performances of players in the Premier League.
You pick the team, and if one of your players scores a goal, or assists one, or keeps a clean sheet, you get Fantasy points!
You are given £100million to spend on a 15-player squad (a starting 11 and four substitutes).
You could have Haaland (£15.5m), Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes (£12.0m) and Arsenal defender Gabriel (£8.0m) all in one squad – your very own dream team – and you can buy and sell players during the season, as long as you stay within your budget.
Each week you’ll need to pick your captain, who will score double points, so choose wisely.
You’ll move up and down the world rankings based on your performance. And more importantly, you can create private mini-leagues where you’re just competing against your family, friends or work colleagues.
A Bukayo Saka goal could take you above your dad in the live rankings, but the loss of a clean sheet in the 88th minute might cause another swing that puts another family member on top.
It means you’ll be kicking every ball and getting the thrill of points coming in as the weekend football plays out.
You may be completely new to Fantasy Premier League or have only heard a little about it. But don’t be daunted: anyone can enter. It’s a game for everyone.
