The World Cup is over and attentions are quickly turning to the new Premier League season.

Aston Villa are about to embark on their fifth campaign under Spaniard Unai Emery and what a job he has done at Villa Park.

Not only has he helped the Midlands club into the Champions League, he has also brought them the Europa League trophy.

Villa may well have seen Morgan Rogers depart the club for Chelsea, but they have secured a handsome price for him – £117million – which is a British transfer record.

They have also seen Youri Tielemans head to Manchester United but with Alejandro Garnacho now in on loan from the Blues, Villa will be hoping for another successful term with Emery at the tiller.

This weekend they face Portuguese giants Porto in a pre-season friendly.

Porto are high-calibre opposition who will test the Claret and Blues ahead of the new season in the top flight.
