There are clubs named after famous people, mythological figures, animals etc. over the decades representing the different sociocultural phases of club name/theme origins.
What is wrong with a club founded in the 21st Century being named after something to do with computer/social media? Tech is like the biggest thing the world revolves around atm and imo this won't seem so crazy in a couple generations down the line. So, to know Hashtag started the trend only, makes it more interesting and appealing to me to support them.
