Haikyu!! (ハイキュー!!, Haikyū!!, from the kanji 排球 “volleyball”) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. The story follows Shoyo Hinata, a boy determined to become a great volleyball player despite his small stature. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2012 to July 2020, with its chapters collected in forty-five tankōbon volumes.
An anime television series adaptation by Production I.G aired from April 2014 to September 2014, with 25 episodes. A second season aired from October 2015 to March 2016, with 25 episodes. A third season aired from October 2016 to December 2016, with 10 episodes. A fourth season was announced during the Jump Festa ’19 and was planned for release in two cours, the first cour of 13 episodes aired from January to April 2020, and the second cour of 12 episodes aired from October to December 2020.
In North America, the manga has been licensed by Viz Media, while the anime series has been licensed for digital and home release by Sentai Filmworks.
Both the manga and anime have been met with positive responses. The manga won the 61st Shogakukan Manga Award for best shōnen manga in 2017. As of November 2020, Haikyu!! had over 50 million copies in circulation.

bro karasuno vs aoba johsai at the end of season 2 still remains my favorite match in the series. everyone was going insane in the third set. mad dog and oikawa had insane serves, everyone in karasuno kept getting hit in the face😂, and hinata and kageyama’s quick finally got past aoba’s wall which stopped them in the interhigh tournament

All of nishinoya's moments, hinata coming in clutch by hitting all of the twins' balls and giving the team a moment to breathe, when hinata did his trick with kageyama and looked oikawa directly in his eye like "I'm coming for you"(first time his eyes were conpletely open for the quick attack), tsukishima's blocks, green head's jump floats, tanka's line shot, the captain' recieving, the ace's serves (forgot his name😭), sugawara coming in clutch every time he stepped on the court with his tactics, kageyama in general, the entire team slays💜
1st should be given to the scene where hinata shoyo and kageyama blocked smash of mia brothers
