Arsenal’s Top Transfer Targets and Summer Signings
Leandro Trossard
Nationality: 🇧🇪 Belgium
Age: 31
Position: Left Winger
Destination: Beşiktaş
Transfer Fee: €20M
First player to leave Arsenal this summer is Leandro Trossard. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the move to Beşiktaş is now a “Here We Go,” meaning the deal is essentially agreed. Arsenal will receive around €20 million, with only the final formalities remaining. If this is the end of Trossard’s journey in North London, we thank him for the unforgettable moments, crucial goals, and his contribution to Arsenal’s Premier League title. Wishing him nothing but success in the next chapter of his career.
Illan Meslier
Nationality: 🇫🇷 France
Age: 26
Position: Goalkeeper
From: Leeds United
Transfer Fee: Free
Arsenal have already strengthened their goalkeeping department by signing Illan Meslier on a free transfer from Leeds United. The French goalkeeper is expected to become the club’s third-choice keeper behind Kepa and David Raya, while youngster Tommy Setford is likely to head out on loan to gain regular first-team experience.
Morgan Rogers
Nationality: 🏴 England
Age: 24
Position: Left Winger / Attacking Midfielder
Club: Aston Villa
Estimated Fee: £100M+
On the left wing, Arsenal continue to monitor several options to directly replace Leandro trossard. Morgan Rogers remains the club’s top target, although Aston Villa are standing firm and refusing to lower their asking price. Aston Villa are demanding a fee in the region of £120 million, making negotiations extremely difficult.
Bradley Barcola
Nationality: 🇫🇷 France
Age: 24
Position: Left Winger
Club: Paris Saint-Germain
Estimated Fee: €70–100M
If a move for Rogers fails, Bradley Barcola is another player Arsenal admire. The French winger remains on the shortlist, although talks are still in the early stages. Paris Saint-Germain are expected to value the French international at around €70–100 million.
Christos Tzolis
Nationality: 🇬🇷 Greece
Age: 24
Position: Left Winger
Club: Club Brugge
Estimated Fee: £35M (€38M)
Arsenal have made the most progress on Christos Tzolis. Reports suggest the Gunners are close to completing a deal worth around £35 million, with only the club’s final approval remaining. And now that Leandro Trossard has left, we expect a Here We Go soon.
Bruno Guimarães
Nationality: 🇧🇷 Brazil
Age: 29
Position: Central Midfielder
Club: Newcastle United
Estimated Fee: £70–90M
In midfield, Bruno Guimarães is still one of Mikel Arteta’s dream signings. Arsenal have already seen a £55 million bid rejected, followed by a second £65 million offer that was also turned down by Newcastle. The Gunners are expected to return with another improved bid if negotiations continue.
Arsenal are also active in the right-back market. With Ben White expected to leave, the club are searching for a new right-back who can provide competition and cover for Jurriën Timber throughout another demanding season. No concrete names have been mentioned so far. subscribe and turn the notification bell on to receive updates on this one.
Julián Álvarez
Nationality: 🇦🇷 Argentina
Age: 26
Position: Striker / Second Striker
Club: Atlético Madrid
Estimated Fee: €100M+
Up front, Julián Álvarez remains one of Arsenal’s most ambitious targets. Any move for the Argentine would likely cost well over €120 million, making it one of the biggest transfers in the club’s history. The Gunners’ interest could also be influenced by the uncertain future of Gabriel Jesus, who continues to be linked with a move away after his injury spells.
So, fellow gooners, which signing should be the club’s priority? Julián Álvarez, Bruno Guimarães, Morgan Rogers, Bradley Barcola, Christos Tzolis, or a new right-back? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below, and don’t forget to like, subscribe, and turn on notifications for more Arsenal transfer updates. See you in the next one.
