No he's not the perfect replacement for Eriksen. They're two different types of players. Sabitzer is a good player, but he's definitely not an Eriksen replacement, and that could prove to be a problem for Utd. Sabitzer is a box to box player: very good mentally and physically in terms of determination, teamwork, workrate and stamina, good technically and defensively, but not exceptional at any one thing. He's a solid all-rounder. So while the Utd midfield might gain in defensive strength and energy with him, they'll lose Eriksen's touch, vision, passing range and ability to dictate the tempo and retain the ball.
And looking at Utd's midfield depth with Eriksen and VDB out injured, it's a bit of a mess tbh. One DM in Casemiro, 3 box to box midfielders in Sabitzer, Fred and McTominay and a 10 in Bruno. That's not good enough imo. They need another body in there. If Casemiro or Bruno get injured, there's no natural replacement for either of them.

How is it perfect when he averages 28 mins per game in the last 9 matches for Bayern? Even overall, he averages a meagre 41 mins per game for Bayern this season. What's a little worrying is that he has just played full 90 mins twice in the last 18 matches. It is definitely not a like for like replacement for Eriksen. We are just making up squad numbers at this point. Sabitzer's match fitness will be the biggest worry given the frequency of matches in the next 3 months.
If ten haag validated him, then yes he is the perfect replacement.
