Lazio are hoping to get a new striker, but only offering loan deals for Napoli’s Lorenzo Lucca after Nottingham Forest, and Fiorentina’s Roberto Piccoli.

The Aquile are revamping their squad under new coach Gennaro Gattuso and never really replaced Taty Castellanos following his January sale to West Ham United.

Napoli paid €35m to get him from Udinese last summer, but he lasted just six months before a €2m loan move to Nottingham Forest.

While Napoli are eager to sell, they could accept a loan with option to buy, hoping that regular playing time at Lazio could raise his value on the market.

They might also try to include him as a way of lowering the cost of Mario Gila.

The proposal is reported to be with an option worth €18m, which might be too low for the Partenopei.
