Before today’s game, Orlando Pirates gave news about the club’s new player and three other stars.

Last Thursday, Pirates announced that they had signed Cameroonian striker Souaibou Marou to a contract that will last until 2025.

Tonight, when they play Marumo Gallants at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, Jose Riveiro’s team will try to keep their comeback going. Soweto giants have hinted that the highly rated forward could make his debut.

The 22-year-old has been training with the team and getting used to his new surroundings for the past week.

The Buccaneers also gave updates on three other stars: creative forward Thembinkosi Lorch, goalkeeper Richard Ofori, and midfielder Miguel Timm.

“The Buccaneers have made some progress on the injury front, with players like Richard Ofori and Thembinkosi Lorch now back in training,” confirmed Pirates on the club’s official website.

“Midfielder Miguel Timm is also on his way back after missing last Sunday’s game against Stellenbosch. Meanwhile, new Bucs player Souaibou Marou is getting closer to making his debut after his first full week of training with his new teammates,” said Pirates.
