Arthur Dalton, of Mill Lane, Taplow, was caught speeding by an automatic camera on the M4 at Brentford.

The 44-year-old was travelling between Clayponds Avenue and Transport Avenue on a Yamaha MT when he was spotted travelling at more than the 40mph speed limit.

He appeared at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to a single count of exceeding a 40mph speed limit in contravention of a Local Traffic Order.

Dalton was fined £530 and received three points on his licence.

He was ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £212 surcharge.
