Clive Inch, of Newcombe Road, Southampton, has been charged with three counts of robbery, one count of threats to kill, and one count of possession of a bladed article in a public place.

He is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today.

The charges relate to incidents reported on Sunday, June 21.

As previously reported, at around 5.20pm, officers were called to a report of a robbery at the Co-op store in The Hundred.

Shortly afterwards, they received reports of incidents at The Phoenix pub, in The Hundred, and The Exchange in Market Place.

Officers arrived and arrested a man in The Cocky Anchor pub, in Market Place. Upon searching the suspect, officers seized a folding garden saw.
