We asked you which players you have watched at the World Cup that you think would be a great fit at Newcastle.
Here are some of your comments:
Keith: I think Crysencio Summerville would be ideal for us.
Lewis: Folarin Balogun Looked immense in USA’s opener. He’s one to look out for during the World Cup. Him up front would strengthen Newcastle and we would finally have a number nine that is worthy.
Steve: The USA striker Balogun looks very useful. He seemed comfortable shooting with either foot and took his goals well.
Paul: Marcus Rashford; who has the personality to suit the Geordie nation down to the ground, and who is the type to respond to the love he would get.
Guy: Omar Marmoush – Would we ever get him? Of course not. However when a player has scored against you seven times (plus one assist) in only five contests, you are going to value (or in our case fear) that player!
Ged: Ayyoub Bouaddi from Morocco. Great on the ball, calm, good tackler. Couldn’t believe he was only 18. I like Julian Quinones as well.
Tate: We need a striker who can score. I know he’s old but Quinones from Mexico is looking good.
