Tony Mowbray’s side will be taking part in warm-weather training from Sunday, July 19 to Saturday, June 25. They will play two friendlies whilst they’re out in Portugal, with one set to be played behind closed doors.
Rovers have revealed that Nottingham Forest will be their top-flight opponents which fans will be able to attend. Kick-off at 11pm on Wednesday, July 22 at the Estadio da Nora in Albufeira.
The club say that ticket information for the clash will be announced in due course, with fans welcome to attend.
Rovers will be playing a second game behind closed doors, as previously communicated. That will be later in the week and against a European side.
However, supporters will be able to attend an open training session, subject to agreement from Rovers’ host venue. Details on that are yet to be finalised.
