As Newcastle continue their pursuit of success, the club remains in strong hands financially. But among large sections of the fanbase, there is a growing belief that the boardroom lost more than just an executive when Amanda Staveley walked away. It lost a trusted voice, a communicator and, perhaps most importantly, someone who understood exactly what Newcastle United means to its supporters.
