An amber warning for extreme heat has been issued, running from Monday, June 22, at 1am, to Thursday, June 25, at 11.59pm with temperatures set to reach a high of 36 this week.
Monday sees a high temperature of 32 and a low of 18 at the beginning of the amber warning for extreme heat.

On Tuesday temperatures in the city are expected to feel as high as 34.
Wednesday is set to be the hottest of the week with a daily high of 36 as Southampton’s record temperature of 35.6 is likely to be broken.
Thursday, June 25, will see similar conditions, with temperatures expected to cool slightly to as high as 33°C as the amber warning is due to end at 11.59pm on Thursday evening.
The hot weather is expected to ease by the weekend, with highs of 24°C on Friday and 22°C on Saturday.
