Wolves are on course to surpass 22,000 season tickets for their Championship campaign, pointing to a packed Molineux.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, the tally stands at 21,906, with sales expected to be capped at around 22,500. A few hundred seats will go on general sale from 9am on Monday, after more than 1,500 waiting-list supporters secured places.
The anticipated total would be similar to Premier League levels and is significantly higher than the club’s last Championship season in 2017-18.
Every ticket was reduced by at least 25 per cent, and more than 20,000 fans renewed after one of the club’s worst recent seasons, finishing bottom of the top flight. The club believe a full Molineux gives them the best chance of an immediate return.
The Stan Cullis and Sir Jack Hayward Stands are sold out, with about 600 seats remaining across the Steve Bull and Billy Wright Stands.
Wolves will learn their Championship schedule when fixtures are released at noon on Thursday, 25 June, with the Carabao Cup first-round draw also taking place that day. Players not involved at the World Cup are due to report in the first week of July to meet new boss Cesar Peixoto for the first time.
