Belgium manager Rudi Garcia has rewarded Romelu Lukaku’s performance in the 1-1 draw with Egypt by handing the striker his first start at this summer’s World Cup. The Napoli forward, 33, was involved in his side’s equaliser just seconds after coming on in the second half of Monday’s game.
Garcia has made four changes to the team that started the Group G opener, with Maxim de Cuyper, Alexis Saelemaekers, Nicolas Raskin and Lukaku replacing Charles de Ketelaere, Amadou Onana, Timothy Castagne and the ill Jeremy Doku.
