Plymouth Argyle chief executive Paul Berne has refused to say if they have received any transfer offers for Leicester City-linked Lorent Tolaj or not this summer.
The Foxes are said to be interested in striker Tolaj as they look to bolster new manager Russell Martin’s attack for an assault on promotion in League One in the new season, following relegation from the Championship at the end of the last campaign.
Tolaj was Plymouth’s top scorer last season with 21 goals in all competitions and has been linked with a number of clubs, including City, as well as Scottish champions Celtic.

Berne was asked about the continuing speculation surrounding Tolaj in an interview with our sister website Plymouth Live.
“We have planned that all the players we have got will be with us on day one (of pre-season),” said Berne.
“That’s what we plan to do. The players come back to pre-season shortly and (manager) Tom (Cleverley) and the coaching staff will start on the prep on that basis.”

Asked whether there had been any bids for Tolaj, Berne said: “I’m not going to go into individuals.”
