It’s been a busy start to the summer transfer window for Liverpool, and they are now expected to sign a new midfielder in the summer transfer window.
The Reds recently submitted an opening offer to sign RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, believed to be in the region of £87m.
Liverpool are in the market to sign a new winger in the summer transfer window as they look to replace Mohamed Salah, who has now left the club.
Diomande appears to be their number one target, while they have also confirmed the signing of Victor Munoz from Osasuna.
After an incredibly busy 2025 summer transfer window, it looks as though Liverpool are ready to go again in the market.

According to Lewis Bower, who covers Liverpool’s academy, Manchester City are fighting to keep midfielder Xavier Parker, but the player is expected to join Liverpool this summer.
The Secret Scout recently reported that Liverpool and Parker’s representatives have opened talks over a possible move, with the young midfielder wanting to join the Reds.
Parker is believed to be a Liverpool fan and is expected to leave Manchester City at the end of this month when his contract expires.
The young midfielder regularly featured for Manchester City’s under-18 side last season, and he is comfortable playing in a centre-forward role or deeper in midfield.

If Liverpool can get a deal over the line for Diomande alongside Munoz, it’s been a fantastic start to the summer transfer window for the Reds.
Signings like Parker will be more beneficial in the long run, as at the age of 16 he is unlikely to make an impact at senior level just yet.
Attention for Liverpool will likely turn to bringing in reinforcements in midfield and defence, especially after the departures of Ibrahima Konate and Andy Robertson.
Alongside bringing in youth players for the future, the Merseyside club needs to bring in reinforcements that will help Andoni Iraola shape his squad and implement his style of play for next season.
