Sheffield United are leading a keenly-contested race to sign Leeds United teenager Harry Gray on loan.
Citing Leeds insider Elland Back, The Leeds Press, say the Blades head Swansea City, Derby County and Charlton Athletic as Championship rivals circle the 17-year-old.
Gray, brother of Tottenham midfielder Archie, is the latest member of the family to come through the club’s youth set-up and has made one Championship appearance for the club, in the promotion season, off the bench in the 6-0 hammering of Stoke in April last year.

He spent the second half of last term on loan with Rotherham, for whom he scored three times in 20 League One games, and is expected to be part of United’s pre-season programme this summer.
However, it is likely the next stage of his development would see him given more exposure to Championship football, yet rather surprising that could come at Bramall Lane.
If he does make the move he would team up with former Leeds striker Patrick Bamford – and could also line-up alongside Kalvin Phillips if the midfielder can agree terms.
The report says Sheffield United have been tracking Gray ‘for months’ and that they believe Leeds would be happy to send them the striker with the prospect of regular, decent quality football. No decision has been made on Gray’s next steps, with this new taking many by surprise, as we await what develops this summer.
