Still find it mad that he’s already binned of his supposed boy hood club. Many footballers dream about playing for ‘their’ club and even more so if it’s a club the size of Everton. Would have been easier to understand if it was summer and Everton were relegated. But surely he should have had the desire to fight to keep them in the league? I feel as if it’s mercenary behaviour which for someone of his age doesn’t sit right with me.
