The Wolves 1877 Trust has welcomed Cesar Peixoto after his appointment as Wolves head coach, promising strong backing for him and his staff.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, Peixoto was confirmed as Rob Edwards’ successor on Sunday, 15 June, on a two-year contract, subject to a work permit.
The Trust said supporters will help him settle and succeed. Chairman Keith Bickley wished him success, praised the loyalty and passion of Wolves fans, and looked ahead to welcoming him to Molineux next season.
Peixoto arrives with the task of leading Wolves back to the Premier League after relegation to the Championship.
He recently steered Portuguese side Gil Vicente to sixth in the Primeira Liga.
In his first interview as head coach, the 46-year-old pledged to build a team supporters can be proud of and to do everything possible to reach the top flight.
