  1. I really want to say that he's another great English winger and hope that he thrives at Newcastle but he's such an average player. For all their great business in the past year I can't get my head around this. I'm not convinced Gordon is a PL level player and they're signing him with aspirations of challenging for the top. Hope I'm wrong and there's another great English talent in him but I'd be amazed if he lasts more than 2 seasons before they realise their mistake.
Not that my opinion really means anything 🤣

  2. I feel like we've been shafted in the price but I've seen what Eddie can get out of players, joelinton was a ridiculous fee at the time but now it looks like a bargain, hopefully he has the same outcome 👍

  3. I think Everton sucked the life out of him and his progress completely stalled , if not regressed.

Howe should get hold of him and get his career reignited

  4. He’s better off out of that vile club getting booed every miss placed pass and getting abused by these fans who ment to be the best 😂 just a poisonous club always has been

  5. Everton should be laughing all the way to the bank with us. Insane amount of money for someone who scored 7 goals in 6 years. Awful attitude by the looks of things with how he treated Everton.

  6. So evertonians, I don't really watch you guys alot but from my chair of ignorance, 45 mil is daylight robbery right? I know prices nowadays are stupid but is he really worth that?

  7. Average player, can't cross, falls over a lot. Will be warming the bench for a long time before heading for obscurity. Everton did well to get rid for this price.

  8. He's not that good, just looked good for Everton because rest of the players weren't stepping up. So price means nothing here. I'd say Gordon worth 10 million realistically

  9. I’m an Everton fan and think this is a good deal for all parties. We get good money for a lad who’s head hasn’t been in it since the Chelsea interest. Newcastle get a young player with good potential that will thrive under the right manager.

  10. Criminally overrated. This guy has scored 6 goals in his entire 6 year Everton career. Moneybags Newcastle already blowing big money on dumb transfers.

  11. Might eat my words but I honestly think Maxi is going to be here still and turn it up a gear. He was talking about wanting to play with Isak recently and enjoying training with him to the point he's doing extra sessions with him. I also don't really buy the bad attitude or poor work ethic argument. He's been out injured and on the bench since August and there hasn't been any credible rumours that he's unhappy or causing issues.

Signing Gordan doesn't mean Maxi has to go. As much as I think everyone in our squad puts in a shift for us the FA cup game proved how little depth we really have. Depth and competition are good things.

  12. ASM is going nowhere and, back to full fitness, he is now firing – can see him and Isak clicking together too. Strength in depth for our forward line now and I can see different set ups between all these players interchanging going forward…
