Jack Wilshere is committed to Luton despite rival interest in the Hatters head coach.

Wilshere joined the League One side in October and has helped stabilise the club after back-to-back relegations, leading them to within a point of the play-offs following an end-of-season run of six wins in seven.

He also led the side to the EFL Trophy in his first season in charge.

It is understood Wilshere was approached by Leicester in recent weeks following the departure of Gary Rowett in the wake of the Foxes’ demotion to League One.

But it is also understood Wilshere prefers to stay at Luton and continue the work he has started.

It is also believed that Wilshere did not want to take another job in League One.
