Stevie McKenna made light work of American opponent Casey James Streeter with a first-round stoppage in their middleweight bout in Bournemouth.
The Monaghan fighter caught Streeter with a vicious left hook 30 seconds into the contest before sending him to the canvas following a flurry of punches.
While the fight was allowed to continue, it did not last much longer as McKenna fired off another volley of punches.
With Portland, Maine native Streeter pinned against the ropes, the referee Amy Pu opted to stop proceedings.
The victory came in the 29-year-old’s first fight since his defeat to Lee Cutler in Liverpool on December 2024.
It takes McKenna’s record to 16-1 and he is set for a swift return to the ring at Dublin’s 3 Arena in August.
