New ‘leaked’ photos of the 2026/27 Newcastle United Home Shirt are now circulating.
Little doubt it appears now that the ‘Barcode’ design will be the shirt worn next season.
The early 1990s saw Newcastle United have a varying width of stripes in the home shirt design but nothing similar has been tried again.
Until now that is.
According to media reports the 2026/27 Newcastle United Home Shirt will be officially launched next week.
On Sunday we reported on claimed leaked images of the 2026/27 Newcastle United Away Shirt (see below).
Then on Monday a photo was published by The Kitman site said to be a leaked image of the new 2026/27 Newcastle United Home Shirt. This photo of a shirt on a hanger appears to back up previous claims of what the new home design is going to be.

Elsewhere, reports and images of the new 2026/27 Newcastle United Home Shirt seemingly already on sale in Malaysia and other locations.
It is still an unknown as to what is happening on the front of shirt sponsorship with Newcastle United.
The three-year £25m a season Sela deal is set to come to an end and nothing official from the club as yet on what is going to happen, if anything.
Chelsea have not had a permanent front‑of‑shirt sponsor since their deal with Three ended in 2023. For short-terms periods their shirts have shown Infinite Athlete and Damac. Then in February this year Chelsea announced IFS would be their front of shirt sponsor until the end of the 2025/26 season.
On Sunday morning, Footy Headlines published an image that is claimed to be the new 2026/27 Newcastle United Away shirt.
If they are proved correct then I think it will go down far better than the leaked home one.
Footy Headlines report it as: ‘Kit Design: The Newcastle United 2026-2027 away kit will have a navy base with white details and a ‘Brickwork’ pattern inspired by St James’ Park. Retro Elements: The kit will feature the Adidas Trefoil logo and the Newcastle United retro crest from 1976-1983, giving it a nostalgic feel.’

They add that their information is that the 2026/27 Newcastle United Away Shirt is scheduled to be available in late July or early August 2026.
I really like this design and hopefully it proves to have been on the money. It is a bit like the 1978 Scotland World Cup home shirt.
