A brilliant strike from Michael Laffey has won Liverpool U21s’ Goal of the Season award.
The midfielder’s effort in the Reds’ Premier League 2 opener at Leicester City claimed the most votes in a poll of supporters on Liverpoolfc.com.
It pipped a fine Rio Ngumoha curler against West Bromwich Albion to first place in the results, with a first-time Jayden Danns finish taking third.
Completing the top five are goals from Will Wright and Kieran Morrison.
