Real Madrid’s rival for presidency has announced his ambitious plans to build a new era of Galácticos at the club with aims of signing Erling Haaland and a fellow Man City star.
Spanish businessman Enrique Riquelme, who is challenging current Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, has made shocking declarations of star signings heading to the Bernabéu.
Speaking on an interview on Spanish TV as Perez announced Jose Mourinho’s potential return to the club, Riquelme instantly topped his rivals plans with two bombshell potential signings.
He publicly declared he would ‘galactic’ signing with Norwegian striker Haaland and his teammate Rodri topping the list.

However, there is no indication either of the Man City starts are willing to join Real Madrid or that the club would be willing to let them go.
Riquelme even shocked viewers by boldly bringing a new Real Madrid jerseys with Haaland’s name with the number nine on the back. He also made unsubstantiated claims that Haaland has a release clause and wants to join Real Madrid.
Speaking on El Hormiguero to host Pablo Matos, Riquelme said: ” I promised that I would have it notarized that if I become president, nothing from the club will be sold; it will belong to its members. And besides, I don’t have Florentino’s track record; I haven’t been president.

“That’s why I’m committing to signing a personal notarized guarantee for the two players I’ve announced. If I fail to do so, I will pay 100% of the membership fees of all 100,000 Real Madrid members. Haaland has a clause in his contract and wants to come to Real Madrid.”
Speaking about Rodri, he said: “He’s a tremendous player who plays in a position that Madrid needs to strengthen. We’ve spoken with his agent; we have to respect his club, but if I were president, he’d be playing for Real Madrid. I’ll do everything I can.”
Riquelme also slammed his rival Perez’s plans who announced tonight that Mourinho would return to the club if he wins election,
Without saying names, Riquelme praised Mourinho as a coach but said “we don’t like him for our project”.
He did announce plans to announce the name of his coaching choice on Friday (June 5)
This is just days before the Real Madrid presidential elections take place on June 7.
