Man City are in the race to sign Morgan Rogers
PSG have also made their interest known
Arsenal are looking to sign the midfielder too
Manchester City are considering whether to bid for Morgan Rogers, but the competition for his signature just keeps on growing.
It was recently revealed that Man City were interested in Morgan Rogers, who delivered another strong season with Aston Villa.
The attacking midfielder was so important to his team, making 55 appearances. He registered 14 goals and 12 assists in the process, which included a goal in the Europa League final.
And now, the 23-year-old could be about to make the biggest move of his career, with clubs lining up for him.
Man City face Arsenal battle for Morgan Rogers
In order to sign Rogers, Man City will need to outmuscle PSG and Chelsea. Additionally, Arsenal have also joined the race, according to Ekrem Konur.
The Gunners were able to win the Premier League, but fell just short against PSG in the Champions League final.

While Mikel Arteta’s team defended exceptionally well throughout the season, their attack was far less expiring. Of course, the club have become infamous for their reliance on set pieces.
Therefore, this is an area where Rogers could be helpful, as he is both a goal threat as well as a creative spark.
PSG and Arsenal are City’s biggest threats
Man City and Arsenal are the two teams to have dominated English football over the past season, so Rogers is likely to prioritise them over Chelsea.
If the England international opts to remain in his home country, it is likely to be a two-horse race between the sides who will face off in the August Community Shield clash.
However, if Rogers fancies a move abroad, PSG may well become the favourites to secure his services.
After all, Luis Enrique’s team have just become champions of Europe for a second successive season.Â
Plus, Rogers would be able to partner with the likes of Ousmanne Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Do Man City really need Rogers?
Rogers predominantly plays as an attacking midfielder, and City already have two strong options in this position.
Rayan Cherki delivered some brilliant performances during the second half of the season, while Phil Foden looked to be finding his feet again right at the end.
The Villa attacker can play on the left wing too. However, the Sky Blues already have Jeremy Doku, who is simply undroppable if he continues to build on his recent form in the new campaign.Â
A fee of roughly £80m would be a lot of money to spend on a player who is not going to be starting every week.
And on top of this, Rogers himself might be put off if he knows that he is not going to be a primary option.
Nevertheless, he is a quality player. So if Enzo Maresca can make it work, adding him to the City squad would come with its advantages.
