On their way to a Premier League title and Champions League final, Arsenal played in some fantastic matches, whether it be down to the scoreline in favour of the Gunners or the intensity of the match.

Arsenal also reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup and the final of the Carabao Cup, losing in devastating fashion to Southampton and Manchester City respectively, but it was ultimately a season where Mikel Arteta’s squad put in some brilliant performances.

From dominant routings to late-game winners, here are the five Arsenal matches of the season.

5 – Arsenal 1-1 Paris Saint-Germain (PSG win 4-3 on penalties)

The Champions League final was a heartbreaker for Arsenal fans who travelled out to Budapest to watch the game, as they witnessed Arsenal fall at the last hurdle, but it was a brilliant journey nonetheless.

Arsenal led the game for a considerable amount of time before Paris Saint-Germain equalised through Ousmane Dembele’s penalty, and defended valiantly in extra time before losing on penalties, with both Eberechi Eze and Gabriel Magalhaes failing to convert their attempts.

4 – Arsenal 1-0 Burnley

With only one more matchweek left to go before the end of the Premier League season, Arsenal had to win against Burnley at home to put all the pressure back on to Manchester City for the title race.

While it was not a particularly interesting game, Kai Havertz scoring the winning goal was a real feel-good moment for both the German and Arsenal fans, given that he had spent a considerable amount of the season unable to play.

3 – Inter Milan 1-3 Arsenal

Perhaps Arsenal’s best performance on the European stage all season, Mikel Arteta set up a brilliant system which saw their Italian opponents, and the 2025 Champions League finalists, struggle to generate any real quality.

Meanwhile, Arsenal were impressively clinical, with two goals from Gabriel Jesus and a wonderful finish from Viktor Gyokeres meaning that the Gunners left the San Siro with three points and three goals.

2 – Arsenal 4-1 Tottenham

The first North London derby of the season ended up leading to a dominant display for Arsenal, who never looked troubled by arch-rivals Tottenham at any point throughout the game.

Leandro Trossard would open the affair in the first half, before Eberechi Eze would announce himself to the Arsenal faithful with a fantastic hat-trick to score the rest of Arsenal’s four goals.

1 – Crystal Palace 1-2 Arsenal

On the final day of the season, it was more about the occasion than the match, with a somewhat drab affair that almost saw Crystal Palace snatch a last-minute equaliser.

However, after the conclusion of the game, Arsenal were finally allowed to celebrate their title at Selhurst Park—their first title in over two decades and a truly memorable moment for Arsenal fans all around the world.
