As the battle to survive in the top tier starts to take shape this summer, the Blues can take heart from their perfect, spotless record this season against their fellow promoted sides.
In four games – two against each – Town won all four, scoring eight goals and conceding none.
They won 2-0 at Hull on November 25th, Marcelino Nunez and Chuba Akpom bagging the goals.

Then they beat the Sky Blues twice in a month in December, starting with a 3-0 triumph at Portman Road on December 6th. Sindre Walle Egeli, George Hirst and Ivan Azon got the goals.
Just a few weeks later, they did the double over the eventual champions, winning 2-0 at Coventry on December 29th.
Jack Clarke and, memorably, Wes Burns – in just his second game back after ACL surgery – scored the goals.
And Town made it a spotless sweep over their fellow promoted sides when they tamed the Tigers 1-0 in Suffolk on March 3rd – Azor Matusiwa firing home a rocket to win the game.
