City’s 1-1 draw away at Bournemouth on Tuesday night confirmed the Gunners are champions for the first time in 22 years.
Following the disappointment of drawing on the south coast and losing the title, Haaland has been speaking about City’s plan of action for next season.
Erling Haaland wants Man City to use Arsenal as motivation
Erling Haaland believes that Manchester City should be furious at Arsenal winning the Premier League title.
Speaking to mancity.com, Haaland said: “In the end, every game in the Premier League is difficult. We tried. It wasn’t enough.”
“The whole Club should use this as motivation now. We should be angry, we should feel a fire inside our belly because it’s not good enough.
Which signing played the biggest part in Arsenal winning the league?
“It’s been two years now, it feels like forever. We’re going to do everything we can, everyone who will be here next season, to win the league.”
Haaland and City will now have to dust themselves down and go again next season; however, they will do so without Pep Guardiola, who is leaving.
Mikel Arteta’s team will already be confident in their chances of defending their title, with Enzo Marseca replacing Guardiola as manager.
