Wolves can sign off at home with a point
With Wolves having already been relegated and with Fulham in with an outside chance of qualifying for Europe, the visitors have been installed as 10/11 favourites to win at Molineux.
Although one side clearly have more motivation than the other, there’s actually not a lot between these teams when you consider their form and I would be surprised to see the Cottagers leave Molineux with three points.
Fulham have only won two of their last nine games across all competitions. They have gone four matches without a win on the road, drawing with Nottingham Forest and Brentford, and losing at Liverpool and Arsenal.
Considering that Wolves already looked as good as relegated when Rob Edwards was appointed in November, they have done a good job of looking competitive over recent months, especially at home.
Only Tottenham Hotspur have beaten Wolves in their last five home games. Edwards’ side have not only held Arsenal and Sunderland to draws, but have also beaten Liverpool and Aston Villa.
While Wolves look ready to have a crack at a swift return to the Premier League under Edwards, Fulham appear somewhat flat, with their manager Marco Silva set to leave the club at the end of the season.
Backing Wolves to avoid defeat in the double-chance market at 10/11 is an option, but I’m going for the draw at odds of 13/5.
