Chelsea face Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues have endured a turbulent season during which both Enzo Maresca and Liam Rosenior have been sacked, meaning caretaker head coach Calum McFarlane will take charge of the club on Saturday.

Last time out the west London outfit ended a six-game Premier League losing run by holding reigning champions Liverpool to a 1-1 draw at Anfield, and McFarlane will hope to see his side build on that performance when they face the Citizens.

Ahead of the game, though, it has emerged that Chelsea are one of two Premier League clubs monitoring a Serie A sensation.

As per TEAMtalk, both the Blues and Manchester United are monitoring Bologna winger Jonathan Rowe.

The Englishman has been in superb form for the Italian side so far this season, and the report claims that he could be on the move this summer.

Rowe joined Bologna last summer from French giants Marseille and has registered a combined 12 goals and assists in 41 games so far this term.

The 23-year-old’s first taste of senior football was in England with Championship side Norwich City, and the report claims that both Chelsea and the Red Devils are interested in luring the winger back to his home country.

Rowe is under contract with Bologna until the end of the 2028/29 campaign, but it appears that his current side could face a battle to keep hold of the player beyond this summer.

The report suggests that Bologna currently value the versatile winger at just under £40 million, but it isn’t currently clear whether or not interested clubs would be willing to meet that price tag.
