The Seagulls have confirmed they will stage the final of Premier League 2 play-offs as they take on Manchester United for the under-21s crown.

Shannon Ruth’s side have come through the play-offs in brilliant fashion.

They now take on a United side who beat Manchester City 4-3 in the semis.

The final will take place on Saturday at 7.30pm with tickets priced at £5 for adults on sale via the club website.

Albion came from behind to win 2-1 at Ipswich in the first round of the play-offs.

They followed that with a 3-0 home win over West Ham before a 3-1 success away to Spurs in the semis.

Albion finished the season 12th in the 19-team table while United came second.

Their star performer is arguably Shea Lacey, who played and was sent-off in the senior FA Cup tie between the two clubs this season.

Albion’s women are also in action at the Amex on Saturday.

They complete their WSL campaign with a home game against Spurs, kicking off at 1pm.

A win would see Dario Vidosic’s side secure their best-ever points tally and make sure of sixth place.

While two games in a day is something new for the stadium, a gap of about four-and-a-half hours between the fixtures means they can effectively be separate events.
