Ashley Smith, 41, and of Crumpet Farm Drive in Poole, appeared in Poole Magistrates’ Court on April 14.
Smith admitted to three counts of criminal damage to property of value under £5,000 over a three day period in August 2024.
The court heard that on August 4, 2024, Smith damaged a car park payment station to the value of £1,171.23 belonging to BCP Council in Avenue Road car park in Bournemouth.
Later that day, Smith damaged three more car park payment machines to the value of £3,513.69 in Richmond Gardens Shopping Centre in Bournemouth.
Smith further damaged two more car park payment machines to the value of £2,342.46 belonging to BCP Council in Richmond Hill multistorey car park in Bournemouth on August 6.
Smith admitted to three counts of theft by finding, stealing money to the total value of £780, from BPC Council in Avenue Road car park on August 4, 2024, and Richmond Hill multistorey car park on August 6.
Smith was ordered to pay £3,000 in compensation.
