The sun was out, people gathered and a huge variety of acts took to stages large and small for what is always a brilliant weekend of entertainment.
I have to say that whoever books the acts did an outstanding job in ensuring there was something for everyone over the entirety of the festival.
On the first day alone I saw the Cheeky Girls, Seething Akira, Ellie Sax, The Wurzels, SOS, Boyzlife and Symphonic Ibiza and could gone clubbing, axe throwing or spent an hour or two in the funfair, if only there was enough time.
If that’s not enough variety for you I don’t know what would be!
Although not a massive site it has been really well designed and sequenced so that everything is strategically placed ensuring the music on the various stages did not bleed across whilst everything remained just a short stroll away.
The food and drinks outlets were plentiful with all of the vendors, festival organisers and volunteers working away with smiles on their faces knowing they were part of something truly special.
The main stage seemed bigger this year but what has not changed is the amazing light, smoke and pyro production that has become a huge part of Teddy Rocks. The smaller stages are included in this with each stage crew excelling over the whole three days.
Day two promised rain and it did come but did not stay as long as expected and did not dampen anyone’s spirits.
Once again my main focus was on the music and I have to say that Chop Suey, The Bottom Line and KnotSlip were amazing with The HARA providing my discovery moment of the festival as the Manchester band delivered an outstanding set on the Vocal Zone stage.

Main stage headliners Elvana were immense with their blend of Nirvana and Elvis classics mixing well with a variety of accents and a set that proved one of the highlights of the whole weekend.
Unfortunately, I could not make the Sunday but all reports say that it was another amazing day with tributes to Oasis, Ramstein, Queen and a myriad other bands and entertainment around the site.
Due to the variety on offer the crowd is always a real mixture of tastes and ages and I doubt if anyone left not promising to come back again next year.
With the added bonus of the entirety of the profits going to charities to help in their fight against cancer in children this is an event that deserves to grow and grow.
Tom Newton, crew, security and a whole raft of volunteers have truly produced another event that does so much more than entertain people.
There is a real sense of community over the entire site which adds to the overall feeling of the event.
An event that you should definitely make the effort to go to when it returns in 2027.
