On Friday May 8, film crews took over a section of Southbourne beach, which drew attention from curious dog walkers and other passers-by.
Equipment trucks, cameras and a high volume of production staff were seen as the shoreline was transformed into a filming location.

Those at the set were unable to reveal what the project is- but they gave clarification that it’s a Netflix production.

The filming created a buzz in Southbourne, with many people stopping by the set and recording footage on their phone.
When it was time to film, staff had to clear the promenade so the background didn’t feature members of the public.
The scene only lasted for a few seconds and it showed a man making his way through the waves, before being followed by two people.
Staff were seen travelling to and from the set, which was near Sobo Beach, constantly.
Again it hasn’t been announced what the project is, but keep an eye out for Southbourne’s golden beach in upcoming television series and films.
