The winners of the EA SPORTS Player, Barclays Manager, Guinness Goal and Coca-Cola Save of the Month awards have been revealed.
Gibbs-White wins his first EA SPORTS Player of the Month award
Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White has won the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award for April.
Forest‘s captain earns the award for the first time after producing an outstanding month where he scored four times and provided an assist in just three matches.
Gibbs-White’s goal involvements in April included a stunning 15-minute hat-trick against Burnley in a 4-1 comeback victory as well as a goal and an assist in a sensational 5-0 success over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

Those results, alongside a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa, helped Forest move clear of the relegation zone. Vitor Pereira’s side are now six points ahead of the bottom three with only three matches remaining.
Gibbs-White becomes just the second Forest player to win the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award, following Chris Wood’s success in October 2024.
Gibbs-White topped a eight-man shortlist that included Jarrod Bowen and Konstantinos Mavropanos (West Ham United), Rayan Cherki and Nico O’Reilly (Manchester City), Pascal Gross (Brighton & Hove Albion), Noah Okafor (Leeds United) and Alex Scott (AFC Bournemouth).
He won after the public’s votes on the EA SPORTS website were combined with those of a panel of football experts.
Guardiola wins 13th Barclays Manager of the Month award
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has won the Barclays Manager of the Month award after overseeing a perfect April.
Those results included a 2-1 success over title rivals Arsenal, a 3-0 victory over Chelsea and a 1-0 win against Burnley.
Guardiola has now won the Barclays Manager of the Month award 13 times, the third-most in history and just two fewer than former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger’s record.

It is the second time this season Guardiola has been named Barclays Manager of the Month, following on from his previous success in February 2026.
It is the first time in a year that a manager has won the award on multiple occasions in a season, after Nuno Espirito Santo for Nottingham Forest (October 2024, December 2024 and March 2025).

Guardiola topped a seven-man shortlist also featuring Nuno (West Ham United), Daniel Farke (Leeds United), Fabian Hurzeler (Brighton & Hove Albion), Andoni Iraola (AFC Bournemouth), Vitor Pereira (Nottingham Forest) and Arne Slot (Liverpool), after votes from fans were combined with those of a panel of experts.
Mitoma equals record for Guinness Goal of the Month award
Kaoru Mitoma has won April’s Guinness Goal of the Month for his incredible goal against Tottenham Hotspur.
Brighton & Hove Albion‘s Japanese winger wins the award for the third time since its inception in 2016/17 to equal the record currently held by Bruno Fernandes and Andros Townsend.

With Brighton set to go in behind at half-time to Spurs, Mitoma produced an outstanding strike in the third minute of stoppage time to level the score.
He lashed a thunderous volley into the roof of the net with his weaker foot after being found at the back post by Pascal Gross.

Mitoma becomes the first Brighton player to win an award this season, and the first in exactly a year after his team-mate Carlos Baleba won April 2025’s Guinness Goal of the Month.
Mitoma’s strike topped a shortlist of eight April goals following votes from the public and a panel of experts.
Darlow wins his first Coca-Cola Save of the Month award
Leeds United’s Karl Darlow has won April’s Coca-Cola Save of the Month award after his stunning save to deny Wolverhampton Wanderers‘ Ladislav Krejci.
It is the first time he has won the prize since its inception in 2022/23, while he is just the second Leeds player to win a monthly award this season, after Dominic Calvert-Lewin won December 2025’s EA SPORTS Player of the Month award.

With Leeds two goals up midway through the second half, Darlow made a stunning reflex save to tip Krejci’s bullet header over the crossbar.
Leeds went on to win the match 3-0, and their two results after that, a 2-2 draw at AFC Bournemouth and a 3-1 home success against Burnley, has moved Daniel Farke’s side up to 14th place on 43 points.
Darlow won after votes from the public were combined with those of a panel of experts, topping a shortlist of six goalkeepers.
