Dorset Police are investigating a criminal damage at a residential property in Lagland Street.
Officers received a report of an incident believed to have been occurred between Saturday evening, May 2, and the early hours of Sunday morning, May 3.
It was reported that an object was fired smashing a kitchen window at this property.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Officers investigating criminal damage to a residential property are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
“The incident occurred between 11.30p.m. on Saturday the 2nd of May and 5.00a.m. on Sunday the 3rd of May.
“An object was fired smashing a kitchen window at this property.”
