Everton, Sunderland and Brighton & Hove Albion are all chasing CA Osasuna’s Enzo Boyomo ahead of the summer.
The 24-year-old’s development and form had already caught the Premier League’s attention last year.
At that time, we covered claims from Spain of Aston Villa and Crystal Palace interest, but there were no negotiations.
Fast forward to May and Everton, Sunderland and Brighton are now looking at the centre-back.
PL trio show interest
The latest claims from state the three English clubs already show interest in Enzo Boyomo.
Diario de Noticias de Navarra, a newspaper local of CA Osasuna, report their sources confirm that Everton, Sunderland and Brighton are all keen.
The 24-year-old has a €25m release clause and some of these clubs are willing to pay that fee. However, the report doesn’t specify who among Everton, Régis Le Bris’ side and the Seagulls are ready to offer that fugure.
In addition to the Premier League trio, Ipswich Town and Como are also in the mix.
Last month, Sport Witness covered claims from Spain of Ipswich Town sending a scout to follow the defender live.
The Championship side have secured promotion to the top flight, and the newspaper state scout official again watched Boyomo in action against Barcelona last weekend. The Serie A side also have the Cameroon international on their radar.
Osasuna are aware of these clubs’ interest and ‘fear’ the player could leave in the next window. Therefore, the La Liga side are working on finding his potential replacement.
Boyomo can only leave if interested parties were to pay his full release clause. Another newspaper, AS, also report the €25m clause needs to be activated for a summer sale.
