Red Funnel’s Southampton terminal was taken over by the Mandalorian and Grogu to mark Star Wars Day on May 4, bringing the sci-fi universe to life for passengers travelling to West Cowes.
The fun began with lightsaber action, photo opportunities, and playful interactions throughout the terminal, delighting fans of all ages as they boarded the 9.35am Red Jet service.
Making the crossing even more memorable was Red Funnel’s mascot, Ted Funnel, reimagined as Jed Funnel for the day.
He helped guide passengers on their journey – if not through hyperspace, then at least across the Solent.
Fans young and old were treated to galactic entertainment and adventure that continued throughout the afternoon.
