James Trafford, Man City goalie, visited The Green Lounge at Maryport Golf Club last night, taking a moment to pose for a picture with the team.
The newly opened Green Lounge on Maryport’s golf course provides a selection of traditional meals, light bites and “Beautiful views across the sea to Scotland.”
It has received rave reviews from customers since its opening.
Trafford, from Greysouthen near Cockermouth, returned to Manchester City in July 2025, following a two season stint at Burnley FC.
Although he lost his place in the starting eleven following the signing of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Trafford will start for Pep Guardiola’s side in their FA Cup final clash with Chelsea, set to take place on Saturday May 16.
Trafford has said he is hard at work to reclaim his place in City’s starting team.
